Since many parents prefer cooked sushi choices over raw for their kids, arrange with your <strong>wedding caterer<\/strong> to provide displays of cooked-item sushi choices.<\/li>\n<li>Crab cakes, salmon cakes, lobster cakes, cod cakes\u2026in sizes big enough to require two bites, not small balls posing choking hazards for kids.<\/li>\n<li>Hummus and pita bread<\/li>\n<li>Pastas with classic or creative sauces<\/li>\n<li>Meatballs<\/li>\n<li>Sliders, either as burgers or pulled pork, and we\u2019ve seen requests for veggie burger sliders for the kids\u2019 choices as well as the adults.<\/li>\n<li>Macaroni and cheese is always a hit with kids.<\/li>\n<li>Mashed potato and mashed sweet potato bars let kids create their\u00a0 own creamy \u2018sundaes\u2019 with their choices of toppings.<\/li>\n<li>Chicken tenders with a trio of kid-friendly sauces.<\/li>\n<li>French fries cut in spiral styles or with unique flavors.<\/li>\n<li>Mini pizzas topped with a variety of combinations, from four-cheese to vegetables to tiny bits of sausage.<\/li>\n<li>Crudites and cooked vegetables served with fun flair at cocktail party stations.<\/li>\n<li>Fruits cut into kid-friendly shapes, such as smiles, stars, and cartoon characters.<!--more--><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To avoid any holdups in your <strong>wedding cocktail party<\/strong> buffet or station lines, it\u2019s wise to set up a <strong>kids\u2019 station<\/strong> for those sliders, mac \u2018n cheese and fries so that kids can form their own line part of the time.
