GUEST ROOMS

Originally constructed well over a century ago to be the grand private home of a prominent industrialist, each of our historical chateau’s private rooms were individually designed to provide the ultimate in cozy luxury of the time to its owners and guests, while serving as host to lavish parties and gatherings of the wealthy and famous of their day.

Over a century later, each room still offers its own unique and refined charm, carefully preserved with period accuracy to provide our current guests with the same feeling of what it would be like to be immersed in the golden era aesthetic of a luxury estate, while still providing the modern-day amenities that our discerning clientele expect.

Each room comes equipped with its own private bathroom/shower, television, alarm clock, house phone, complimentary secure WiFi, iron/ironing board, hair dryer, and complimentary toiletries. All rooms are non-smoking.

The grandest of our guest rooms, this full suite is solely dedicated to our couple of honor, with a separate front-of-house second floor location entirely dedicated to their enjoyment. This private, warm and romantic space includes a full king bed, private bathroom, and private parlor, as well as a separate “groom’s room” with a more masculine styling. The sleeping quarters is designed to high standard, maintaining many historical elements, and decorated in soft cream tones with powder blue accents, a honey-toned herringbone wood floor, and washed wood paneled walls. It’s triple-aspect windows provide an array views looking over the surrounding ponds and grounds as well as the main entrance court. This wonderfully charming space was originally the grand master suite of the private owners who constructed the chateau over a century ago, and is now lovingly preserved and enhanced to attend to our newly-married couple’s every need.

The roomiest of our guest spaces, this grand suite features a high vaulted ceiling with exposed massive solid timber beams, entirely original to its century-old design. The antique finely-carved four poster king bed sets atop the wonderfully aged octagonal terra cotta tile floor. The suite includes its own separate cozy eat-in French country kitchen that is adorably tiled with a bit of whimsy; it includes an authentic farmer’s sink, refrigerator, and dinette for two. The spacious bathroom offers a towel warmer, modern shower, and a separate magnificent antique full-size claw foot tub in which to fully enjoy the serene atmosphere of our chateau. Additional amenities include a walk-in closet, television, leather couch, and personal safe. The room’s double-aspect opposing window views cast lovely morning light, complementing the warm glow from the room’s antique wrought iron chandelier.
